Uninstallation of .Net Framework 3.5 SP1

Hello,
I am working on .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 package, and the components of this are
1) 2.0 Sp2
2) 3.0 Sp2
3) 3.5 Sp1.
However, the uninstallation gets stuck at 2.0 Sp2 and 3.0 Sp2, it throws an error "software cannot be uninstalled because it will affect other applications that are installed".
(3.5 Sp1 uninstalls without any issues.)
Please let me know if it has any dependencies to be killed before removal.

For sp2 Delete Registry "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.Net FrameWork\V2.0 SP1\SBSDisabled\Uninstall "
For sp3 Delete "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.Net FrameWork\V3.0 SP1\SBSDisabled\Uninstall"

Hello All,
There seem to be another problem during uninstallation of .NET 3.5 SP1,
I get an error
"ERROR 25541 : Failed to open XML file
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Config\web_hightrust.config, system error: -2147024786"

I dont find this file on the machine , please let me know how to go about.

If you think logically (!), what could the installer engine possibly be trying to do with that file?

- Create it
- Delete it
- Move it
- Modify it

A verbose log will tell you which, as would a session with [yawn] a process/file/registry monitor.

Hi

what I found out today is that the next uninstall works
msiexec /x {CE2CDD62-0124-36CA-84D3-9F4DCF5C5BD9} REBOOT=ReallySuppress /qb

give it a try.
