hi,

Whilw uninstalltion my application throwing an error like "Error 0x80020009. Server Un-Registration Failed."

I'm using currently the OS is Xp2002 Sp3

So kindly give the best links t search...

for ATL I suggest you get the Merge Modules and use those (assuming this is an MSI package).

Hi PJ,

I include all the merge modules for the msi but still that uninstallation problem is there

kindly tell me what are the causes for getting the error "Error 0x80020009. Server Un-Registration Failed"

and one question i'm having any merge module is causing for this error ?

Check your custom actions, There should be registration and unregistration custom actions in your wsi. If so add the regstries or merge module and delete those custom actions.

we are not using the CA in our application the exact error is that it is a OCS Toolkit error 0x80020009 occuring at the

Is it a Microsoft Visual C++ Application?

No it is not a Viisual C++ application

but inside the application it is usung the Visual C++ Merge Module

Could you please Tell me Which Merge Module is cause for this type of Error 0x80020009 Server Un-Registration Failed

If its an MSI, turn on verbose logging and it should tell you what it failed on.
