Uncheck Update checkbox in Skype 4.2

Hi,

I am working on Skype 4.2 and I am trying to uncheck 2 checkboxes from Skype Settings. These settings are pointing to disable Automatic Updates of Skype.

I tried capturing those settings and helpless.

I also tried installing application with following registry entires and no luck yet

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Skype\Phone DisableSupernode #1

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Skype\Phone DisableVersionCheck #1

Please reply if anybody have solutions for this problem

Thanks
Rupesh

have you read through this

http://download.skype.com/share/business/guides/skype-it-administrators-guide.pdf

although that's the reg key it mentions. You could try the shared.xml file in %APPDATA%

why don't you do what VBscab said in the other thread you've got going and use a lightweight snapshot tool to capture the changes - RegShot is another good one

Hi folks,
AFAIK, this policy works, but it does not disable all the related dialog items.
The mentioned check boxes are not disabled, but the "Check for Updates" menu item in the help menu is greyed out.

Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
