Triing to do a mst on a msi, but!
Hi!
I´m in a bit off a problem.
I´m trying to make a transform (mst) on a msi, but now to the problem, the msi includes another msi that is hidden. I have tryed to install the hidden msi before i start doing the mst. But no luck. The hidden msi i ISScript1050.msi. It´s surly that the msi that i want to make a mst of needs this ISScript before it can be installed.
What can i do?

you could find the custom action in the main msi that calls the ISScript1050.msi. Delete that CA so therefore you wont have an embedded msi getting installed anymore. test the app to see does it work without ISScript1050.msi installed, if it does not i would create an mst for ISScript1050.msi and set it as a dependency in the documentation of you main application.
basically you will have 2 packages.
