I am trying to upgrade the Trend Micro from 8.x to 10.x, but i am facing some problems.

Anyone has worked on this up-gradation, please let me know, how to go ahead with this.

I tried putting the upgrade code in the new version but it gives error.

I am adding the upgrade code in the "Upgrade" section of the "Installation Expert".

Error msg "Upgrading the Officescan client to this version is not allowed. For upgrade-related concerns, contact your office scan administrator". This is the error it is throwing.

Anyone knows, how to bypass the password checking while uninstalling the office scan client.

Version 10 and 8 share the same UpgradeCode and ProductCode. Therefore no direct Upgrading is possible.
We solved this issue as we uninstall v8 via SCCM, reboot the client and install v10. We arent asked for any password while uninstalling via SCCM.
