Synergetic Deployment
Anyone had an experience with an .msi deployment of Synergetic school management system? Computing directions australia.
i'm waiting on an .msi installer at the moment but will try an managed install including configuration of server info etc (ODBC settings) and post results here.

I have no specific experience with this product (are you expecting issues?), but if all you need to add is an ODBC connection, just adding the entries from HKLM\Software\ODBC (system level) or HKCU\software\ODBC (user level) should do the trick.

In the end, I got an msi for synergetic and you just edit the sample reg provided which has all the ODBC stuff in it. - swestern 11 years ago
