sybase product integration
We have repackaged Sybase PC client 12.0 and Sybase PC client 12.53. The applications work fine individually but when installed on the same dektop sybase Pc client 12.0 does not launch at all whereas three shortcuts don't work for Sybase PC client 12.53.
Sybase PC client 12.53 starts working on uninstallation of Sybase PC client 12.0(without any kind of self healing) but the same doesn't happen for Sybase PC client 12.0.
Please give us an insight on how to go about fixing this problem.

hi,
here's a question.. have you tried the installing both commercial apps on the same pc and did both work?
for your package.. use Filemon and Regmon for starters.. that ought to give you some points on where both apps are failing..
