I have been looking for a way to completely suppress the Automatic Update option so that it cannot be updated by a user. I am a new packager so I am just learning the ropes. TKS

Adam, there's a ton of stuff about QT on AppDeploy. Use the 'Search' and 'Package KB' links.

I didnt have success at finding what I wanted. I dont want just to disable automatic updates, I want to make the button "unavailble" somehow. I did several searches and spent three hours trying out various options. I am open to suggestions. Thanks.

Hi,

Just tryoout in property table table there would be some property would have been set. Disable it.
Also check for checkbox table in the Direct Editor if there is entry for disabling that option.
