Supress Dialog Box.

Hi,

I am trying to create a package which has to install on desktops only. I have a script which confims if the device is a laptop\desktop. If the device is a laptop Installation should not proceed. I have inserted a property, based on its value I determine if the device is desktop\laptop. In case of laptop I have inserted Terminate Installation custom Action. But this custom action throws an error dialog box which I am unable to supress.

Can anyone of you help me with supressing this dialog box. If anyone has any other work around by which I am able to satisfy the above requirments and also am able to rollback\abort installation without throwing any dialog box to user then can you please let me know the same?

Any help will be appreciated.

Many Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Saurabh

your custom action needs to be a function that returns an error code of 3. This will then behave the way you expect. You won't be able to use embedded code, so will have to use the binay table.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
