Subscribe to Important Windows Updates

My plan for maintaining my images going to forward is to take advantage of the Native Imaging capabilities introduced in 3.4. That is, I intend on dealing with .WIM files as much as possible.

One advantage of using WIMs is that you can use microsofts tools to apply windows updates offline. My questions is, besides SUS, is there some convenient way to download all important windows updates over a given timeframe? I have done some searching and haven't had very much luck with Microsofts Update Catalog:

Have you got a K1000?
if you do why dont you use this? you could use smart labels to be specific with the updates you want to deploy.

That is really interesting. Is there a way to put a packged group of updates into a KACE scripted OS install?
