SSL redirect for web pages

Hi,

Im wondering if I am missing something. After reading the admin guide and looking through the GUI there does not appear to be a HTTP to HTTPS redirect. I know that I can put a proxy in front of it etc, I was just hoping the system would have this built in.

Thanks,
KJK.

In Security Settings, you can specify to forward port 80 (HTTP) to port 443 (HTTPS).

Client http traffic will use 443 if it is available regardless of your setting for forwarding port 80. What airwolf said is correct for user portal and admin portal.

I believe this is happening automatically in 5.3+; if SSL is enabled then all traffic is forwarded to 443. I reserve the right to be wrong... but I know the tick box was removed in this release.
