From a cursory glance, it looks like you have specified incorrect and/or incomplete feature names. Have you checked the 'Package KB' article for SSE 2008?

As per the standards I have to remove all th registry entries.and after uninstallation there are so many registry entries left in HKLM,HKCU,HKCR....So I need a help in removing all the entries..and tell me which is the best practice. And what i normally do is export the registry and delete using VB script but for SQL there are so many entries..

Your post doesn't make your requirement clear. Do you mean that you want uninstallation to remove some registry entries?

I suspect that you mean the stuff which SQL Server itself creates as it executes. That won't include any HKCR entries, BTW.

If you want to remove them, avoid script: that's the amateur's route. You'll need to add them first as part of one of your MSTs. Avoiding The COM data (HKLM\Software\Classes, HKCU\SoftwareClasses, etc), export them to .REG files, edit out what's already included in the package (there will obviously be some overlap), then import the resulting .REG into one of your project's transforms. Remember that any HKCU stuff needs to go into a separate user feature which should then be made a parent of a feature which has an advertised entry-point. (Why do I get the feeling I've opened a can of worms here?)
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
