Hello,

I'm using KBOX 1000 for system management tool. I'm having problem with silent installation of SP3 for Window XP. When I push managed installation I get Service Pack 3 Setup Available switches window. The command line i'm using is: WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-ENU.exe /quiet/norestart. I also extracted WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-ENU.exe and used update.exe /quiet/norestart and I still get the same message. I used this link http://www.itninja.com/link/installing-citrix-clients-without-user-interaction
and didn't help.

I have searched all over the internet an could not find any solutions. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
htica

your post isn't all that clear (what is the "Service Pack 3 Setup Available switches window"?)
but if you're saying what i think you are, it may just be that you don't have a space between /quiet and /norestart

  • Please let us know using the "contact" link below if you find other examples, but in this case there should be no "1" on the end of that link. The proper URL is http://www.itninja.com/link/installing-citrix-clients-without-user-interaction

  • Not sure how the "1" got on there, but the proper link is http://www.itninja.com/link/installing-citrix-clients-without-user-interaction
