Slipstreaming Adobe Reader

Hi,

Is it possible to slipstream "AdbeRdrUpd11004.msp or AdbeRdrUpd11004_MUI.msp" into the Danish Base version AdbeRdr11000_da_DK.msi ?

Or should I instead use AdbeRdrUpd11004_MUI.msp on AdbeRdr11000_mui_Std.zip and the define Danish Language in my transform file using ACW ?

Best Regards
Anders

  • I've read a little on the MUI versions of reader and found no real straight answer. Best option would be to try the options you have stated in your lab and view the result.

It would be a great help to others if you could write a little post on what the outcome of the testscanario's are in the article on Adobe Acrobat Reader on this site to help others in the non US MUI club ;) - EVEEN 10 years ago

You can make a Adminstrative Install Point, but I dont recommmened it - its a huge pain in the ass to manage. I would just get your ESD to install the main prog, then patch it in sequence.

You can read about AIPs, here.

Hi again, in the meanwhile I found this great post - very easy to follow.
