I am unable to do a silent install of the CheckPoint Media Encryption client 4.97.

I have tried runing the "setup.sfx.exe /s " command but I still get a reboot prompt at the end of the installation

I also tried using the setup.ini file by setting PkgRebootType=3 property but I still got the prompt..

Suprisingly enough I called Check Point support and none of the guys seem to have any plausible solution

Has anyone encountered this issue and got a fix? any help will be highly appreciated.

Are you deploying this via SCCM or SMS?

I ask because I'm having issues!!!

I can install what I've done manually no problem but not through SCCM. I thought it was the ISScript8 DCOM problem but unfortunately not!

Anyway, back to your problem,

You can use an iss file to suppress reboot, something like this:

or just use the msi with the REBOOT=R Property
