Shortcuts and install level question
Is it easy or complex to make a shortcut deploy depending on the install level property? I have an MSI I would like to modify that will not deploy a shortcut if the install level is not 300.

hi Joe,
There must be a condition in the component or feature of the shortcut/s that you can change to allow its installation in a lower InstallLevel.
You don't have to change the whole installlevel, just the selected conditions that checks it, or in case of feature, the installlevel attribute of it.

Hi Joe,
INSTALLLEVEL is not supposed to be used like this. You should set a new property to decide if the SC has to be installed or not.
This, indeed is done like Kris wrote, with a condition on the component which the SC belongs to.
