Shortcut problem
I am using wise installer for packaging. I need to create a shortcut in "SendTo". I tried to create from Allusers & DefaultUser but it did n't work. Can any one help me in this to create the shortcut.

SendTo will not work for AllUsers, that will mean that if you install Per-Machine it will not work.
Try install Per-Machine instead.

I don't know how you're deploying the package but you must use a regular shortcut (non-advertised) to be able to show the SendTo shortcut, otherwise it will only get installed to the %UserProfile%\SendTo directory but not be displayed when right-clicking a file and choose Send To.

I might be wrong, but I think I have heard that SendTo folder only works for the Current User, no mather how you do.

It will only work if the installation is Per-User and not Per-Machine (which will install the shortcut under "All Users" profile)

Hi Ramu,
like AngelD wrote, it works only in the users profile. Therefore, if you want to install to the computer, you have to make sure, that the shortcut is created in each users profile. You can do this by active setup or self healing. For self healing, have a look at this:
