SHORTCUT LAUNCH

HI experts,

I have an issue related to shortcut. AFter installation I can see the shortcut on desktop and this will not launch after installation. But after I logout and login then this shortcut is getting launched automatically, which should not happen.

So can you help me in this issue. The shortcut should not launch after logout and login. Are there any parameters that are to specified in shortcut window in Wise.

It sounds like waiting for some more operations , so that it needs to reboot

Try the below reg keys -
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\InProgress
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\PendingFileRenameOperations
Remove any entries if they exist.

Check is there any batch file that actually calling this task.
check if any keys RUN under HKLM

Using this lightweight snap shot tool take pre snap before logoff and take post snap after logon

It might be startup popup..There u may find check box for every time launch the shortcut...take same snaps for uncheck the check box.

Probably u may get the solution.

ahh what are you getting at here ? do you realise what this is for ?
