"Setup Capture" w/ InstallShield 11?

We work primarily with Wise here at work, but found out my company has a license with InstallShield (don't ask why we don't switch [8|]). I have since downloaded InstallShield 11 - Professional Edition and have been playing around with it. Through my exploring, I have a few burning question:

1) In Wise, there's the "SetupCapture" utility to use when converting EXEs; is there something similar with IS 11?
2) What's the difference between AdminStudio and IS 11?

Thanks!

Installshield 11.5 is just the MSI editor/creator. You need AdminStudio (which is the full suite which includes Installshield 11.5) to do repackaging (setup capture).

The setup capture in Wise and Installshield are almost identical. I find both work quite well. Yes, Installshield's can be run from a remote network share.. no need to install anything on the client.

I find Installshield's AdminStudio captures better than Wise, but Wise's code is less buggy. It's more or less a wash.

Installshield has a repackager.exe utility that allows snapshots to be taken. just look for the executable. I'm not sure of the differences between AS & IS. Maybe the repackager isn't shipped with IS?

As far as I know, the InstallShiled repackager can be launched directly from the network share where you have installed the editor, while you need to install the Wise repackager on the package client.
