Are you sure you have set up the msi to install and start the service correctly?
Is it a kernel service or does it need a reboot in order to start?
Some kernel services can not be installed using the normal method within an msi. You may need to create a custom action to do it once the file is installed.

This is a service for licensing of Clearcase. It has to get authenticated during installation. The vendor msi is not installing the service if installed with MSI .If set up.exe is used the service get installed with both vendor MSi and the msi (vendor msi combined with my transform)that I created.
Thanks
Thanks
