Script to query and alter table of an MSI or MST file

any ideas how to make this thing? a script to query a data from an msi or mst tables and to alter it when needed. thanks

I'd suggest you start by downloading the Windows Installer SDK here (here). Among many other interesting things it contains VBS code samples detailing interaction and querying of MSI files.
