Save a webex recording

Hello I am trying to figure out how do you save a webex recording without a login? I would like to save my kace2000 webex but I have no options to do so?

  • If you were trained by a trainer from Dell during a Jumpstart training, they can provide the download link where you don't have to log in. - nshah 7 years ago

      • There are two links. They may have given you the streaming link only which you can't download. Email training@kace.com and ask that they provide the links to download the video, not stream. - nshah 7 years ago

Sometimes I can't work out why the solution to the issue is in the comments, when it should be shown as an answer?

The comment is correct, when a Jumpstart session is run the trainer, if they remembered to record the session, will get two links from Webex. One is for streaming the recording and the second is for downloading the link. The policy has always been for Jumpstart trainers that we share the streaming link and only supply the download link if the account manager for the customer agrees that it can be released.

In this instance just go back to your trainer and ask then to provide the download link for you, you will then be able to save your session recording locally, and you may need to download the player to enable playback.
