SAP Application Server

Hi all,
I’ve recently packaged SAP 710 GUI, and i am getting ready to deploying to over 5,000 users.
I am new to this. How do I go about deploying after packaging?
Step by step instruction will be nice.

Huh? Well, how do you deploy everything else? Group Policy? SMS/SCCM? Radia? Altiris?

So, why would imagine SAP is any different from all your other packages deployed via SMS? I don't get it...

I am new to SMS. The SMS administrator is no longer here and this baby was thrown in my lap, The application server is working fine. I could map to it and run sap setup nor problem, but i don't want to do that for 500 users.

Thanks for corresponding

tennis1,

You need to be getting yourself on a training course! M2596 is probably the best Microsoft course for you, it's a 5 day course for 'using' SMS 2003.

In the mean time you need to read around the documentation for SMS that is on the Microsoft site - the Operations Guide would be a good start.

You may also find a copy of 'Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003 Administrator's Companion' useful.

Hope this helps
