Does anyone know if changing your current Samba Share Password would have any effect on an organization?

Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
from a K1000 side of things this shouldn't affect anything, but if you have things happening externally that use that share they may be broken; an FTP backup or automated file copy or something for example.

That's useful - it's been a year and a half since we set up KACE and nobody knew what the pass was. Good thing you don't need the password to change the password!
