Running a Wise Script Executable via a Dialog

Hello Everyone,

I'm a Wise Installation Studio 7.0 user and am new to this board. I'm trying to add a Wise script executable to a WSI but I only want it to run when the program is installed via dialogs. Basically the user will select the folder structure they want to install the software under. When they click "Next" this executable should kickoff and verify that the folder structure selected conforms to the required structure needed in order for the software to work properly. If it does not meet the requirements then another dialog will appear telling the user to please try again. My problem is that I have been unable to succesfully add this executable into my WSI file. I know this works because I see this executable in an existing package only being run in the dialog. Unfortunately I cannot ask the creator of this package how they did it because they are no longer with the company. Apparently they were also a bit of a loose cannon and never documented anything so no one here at the company can tell me anything either.

If someone could help me out I would really appreciate it. If you need more clarification please let me know as I realize this probably sounds confusing.

Thanks again

If the folder structure has to be "set in stone" (exactly what sort of God awful software is this, BTW?!?), why let the user futz with it atall? Either bypass the dialog altogether or remove the 'Browse' button and making the text box read-only.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
