So I have created a new queue but I fail to see any options to configure an email notification be sent when a user submits a new ticket. Is this possible?

  • When you created the queue, there should be a section near the bottom of the Queue Detail page called Email on Events, these are a set of tick boxes that should allow you to select what when notifications are given. Alternatively you can create a custom ticket rule to send out emails when a ticket is created
  • Actually, there is no option in the Email on Events section to do this. That was the first place that I looked. I did figure out how to create the rule though. The key was in selecting "On Save" as the frequency.
  • That's odd, what version of Kace do you have?
