Rolling out new drivers/device drivers
We are preparing for an XP SP2 deployment.
One of the initial processes, is to check that the drivers on the workstations are XP SP2 compatible and upgrade the drivers if necessary.
We are thinking about using an SMS package or login script to upgrade the drivers with a silent switch.

You can do it with an MSI using DIFx. The problem is that the drivers must be signed by Microsoft. Otherwise you'll have to use more complex methods to get the drivers to upgrade.
