Request help on choosing Unattended Installation Software Package

Hello all,

At the moment I am using AutoIT to create my unattended installation files. The problem with autiit is that you will see all the display it opens.

I am looking for a package that enables me to script an unattended software package - and then deploy it so it will show a welcome message "installing package xxxxx" and in the background the installation is running. When doen it shows a "done" message and you are done.

I have been browsing the net and all I found are packages that you specify where each file goes.

I have software X - create scritp and run script and it will install it on machine X without the end user even noticing it that it run.

Can someone point me in a starting direction ?

If you use any utility to create MSI installations, then it's as simple as adding /qb+ to the MSIEXEC command line. Wise, InstallShield are the best (and most expensive).

depends on what type your install package is built on but most of these have silent options you could use.. try this one.. maybe it could help..
