Removing previous versions of Acrobat 7.0

Hello:

I am trying to deploy Acrobat 7.0 on my network via GPO. I have a lot of old version on the network. I want to remove any previous version of Acrobat and install ver 7.0. I downloaded the Installshield Tuner for Adobe Reader. When I create the MST file I want the check the options for "Remove previous version" on the Installation Options, but not matter what I do I can not select this.

Does anyone know how to check this option or know another way to force remove any previous versions of the reader?

Thanks...

I used a batch file that uses the uinstall string from the registry. I ran into the issue where the remove previous versions was grayed out also.

My problem is the acroiehelper.ocx file. I cannot delete it during my 5.0 uninstall. I have unregistered it but is there a way of removing it without a reboot?

Thanks for replying to me post. That is a good idea. When I ran the path from the UninstallPath it prompts me. Do you know if there is a way run this with taking all the defaults?

Here is my command line. Other than the ocx file not deleting, it works okay

C:\WINNT\ISUNINST.EXE -f"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Acrobat 5.0\NT\Uninst.isu" -c"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Acrobat 5.0\NT\Uninst.dll" -a
