Reinstall

Hi all,

Can SCCM do a reinstall of an application?
Is there a way to do a re install.

I am working on PDF creator 1.2.2, which needs a reinstall of the app on win 7 because of the drivers. (PDFCreator has to enhance the rights of the printer driver to access PDFCreator. Windows 7 does not know about this and removes the permission, to keep the system safe. To make PDFCreator work again, you can simply reinstall PDFCreator.)

Please Advice.

Thanks in advance

Have you done a per machine install? I would have thought that this would set up correctly for all users, without the need to re-install. Test it by doing a manual install, with full GUI, as an admin user & then testing as standard user.

I did try the manual install on win 7. the msi that I got when I captured on win XP. It did not show the PDF creator printer on one install. When reinstalled, then it showed. And now it does not create the pdf files.
