I usually create a custom action and import the reg file using a tool called 'ModifyProfile'. This tool will apply the registry information to all profiles on the system. This is great because some registry information specific to the 'Current User' must be propagated to all users or it may break the software or prompt for registration etc etc..

If you choose this method you will need to add a component for each file you add. I don't need to add the ModifyProfile tool when I use it because I have it in my target ghost image so I just specify the path in my custom action..
