Registry Change

I'm currently trying to change a registry setting under HKCR\wow6432node using subinacl but just getting 'unable to enumerate subkeys' 'The system cannot find the file specified'. Any key under this heading gives the same message. I can change it manually and importing the registry key doesn't seem to remember the rights that have been set. Is there another way of doing this. How hard can it be just to add some rights to a key!! (Rant over).

You are trying this on a 64-bit OS judging by the key involved here, correct ?

IIRC, subinacl either doesn't work on 64-bit Windows, or at the very least results can be unpredictable.
