using installscript (installsheild)
how can i get a value from the registry and then set that value in another path of the registry ??

In the same application msi or some registry present in the system.. if its the latter then Systemsearch should solve it.

it's the current user for the palm, so i want to take the current user for the palm and write that username to the software i am installing

i am trying system search, i see were you can fine the registry key but how do you have your other registry key read that information?

SystemSearch will put that registry value into a public property (that you specify).

Then you can enter in this property in the Registry part. (eg: [PUBLIC_PROPERTY] )
