i want to user installscript to do the following
RegDBGetKeyValueEx
i want to read a value in the HKCU\software\palm\lastusername\"current user"
then write the current user to HKCU\software\apps\username\"current user" user the RegDBSetKeyValueEx
how can i do that

Why are you intent on using the "RegDBGetKeyValueEx" WMI method, instead of just using plain-and-simple vbscript ReadReg & WriteReg ?
