Regarding appsearch
I am realtively new to packaging feild ,can anyone help me
i have package, what i needed to do is ,when in install it has to check the computer name on the system and install certaion of files.
what i understood is how to go with the system serach for computer name and then store it in the property and use it as launch conditions.
any help is appericated.

If you use InstallShield, MSI defines a property called [ComputerName]. It resolves it at runtime.
What kind of launch condition are you trying to create?

The [ComputerName] property is part of Windows Installer itself and not just InstallShield.
