Hi,

I have repackaged CorelDRAW 9. This app installs several cfg files into usersprofile application data. This cfg files holds the registration reminder.
In the production environment, we have enable the redirection of the profile to a network server. When deploying CorelDRAW9 through AD, this app failed because it cannot find the path application data folder of the user.
In the test environment, we don't have redirection, it installed with no errors.

Anyone know how to solved this?

In WPS you would install the files under My Documents\[Folder Name]......not Windows\Profiles.

If the package is user installed then the msi will create the folder and files in the redirected profile.

I have set in WPS to install to My Documents\[Folder Name] instead of Windows\Profiles, but it installed in My Documents which is redirected to a networkserver and not in the profile of the user.
We have My Documents redirected to \\srv005\homedir\username and the profiles to \\srv005\profiles\username
CorelDRAW installs files in C:\documents and settings\username\application data.
Any other solution?

thanks,
Xink

--Edit--

Sorry, the profile is not redirect, but the Appdata enviroment variable is redirect to \\srv005\homedir\username\redirect\appdata. So when corel draw want to install to c:\documents and settings\username\application data, it will install on \\srv005\homedir\username\redirect\appdata. How do i set in the package to ignore the redirection and installs to c:\documents and settings\username\application data?
