read only files
hi,
if i set a file to read-only with installshield what are the implications?
i know that users will only be able to read it, but from an update\patch\ungrade point of view can you confirm the file will get updated.
We currently tell developers not to create read only files as we will not add read only files to our packages.
does anyone see any reason for this as no one here seems to know exactly why we do that. typical.
