I understand that both Installshiled and Adminstudio are from flexera foundations but would want to understand the major difference between these tools?

Any views from anybody are apprciated.

Thanks,

hmm.. some typo's there :

Both Products are from Flexera Software ( www.Flexerasoftware.com)
- InstallShield is mainly for Software Developers who want to make MSI installers ( and/or App-V Installers)
- AdminStudio is a full suite of tools for the SysAdmin, e.g. Repackaging, Editing (inlcuding the full InstallShield product), Testing, Virtualizing etc...

So if you are a System Administrator then you need to buy AdminStudio
If you are a Software Developer then you only need InstallShield.
