I have manually installed the KACE client on some ubuntu machines and I don't see where RAM is shown on the summary or hardware screen for ubuntu clients.  Am i missing it or is it not there?  Is there an alternate way to get the client RAM config?

You should see Ram Information under Hardware section

  • Can you paste the output of command "free -b" from that ubuntu machine?
  • total used free shared buffers cached
    Mem: 12599992320 9024028672 3575963648 0 210817024 2450186240
    -/+ buffers/cache: 6363025408 6236966912
    Swap: 29997658112 49270784 29948387328
  • I think I know why you aren't seeing the RAM info. I need to leave now. Will update by tomorrow.
  • Unfortunately this is a bug on Agent where it fails to report the RAM if total RAM is more than 4 GB. This issue has been identified and should be fixed in next release. In the meantime if you want to get that details, you can create a custom inventory rule to get the details for RAM.
