QuarkXpress 6.1
Hi All,
I have to package Quark and it comes in a setup.exe which has an MSI embedded. The MSI will not run on its own and I cannot seem to run a transform with the setup.exe i.e. Has anyone had this application and what did you do please?

Hi!
I havn't packaged QuarkXpress, but if you get an error message saying that you need to run it from the exe, you can try the folowing tips:

Maybe the QuarkXpress-MSI needs InstallScript, or kinda?

It probably needs ISScript.msi as a rep-req Rob.
Try adding the property ISSETUPDRIVEN to 1.
Find the custom action "OnCheckSilentInstall" and set the condition to 0.

You can run the MSI by itself upon installing ISScript, BUT InstallShield Tuner will still fail to generate a response transform. Haven't figured out why, though.
