PXE Problems

Hi everyone, I am running Deployment Server 5.6 and my Express PXE service keeps stopping unexpectedly. The only error I get is 1009 in the event log. Any ideas other then moving to the latest version?

PS I have checked disk space and disk defrag on the server. I have the service set to LocalSystem with interact with desktop enabled on the login as tab. I also have the recovery set to start the service on first failure.

Thanks in Advance

Keith

I'm assuming you mean version 6.5.

I had this same problem and then I upgraded to 6.8 SP1 and the problem went away. My SE told me today that SP2 will be shipping Thursday afternoon (tomorrow) and that it includes the Ghost engine now, support for Windows Longhorn Server (doesn't help me), and a few other items that i have forgotten.

Well don't laugh but no I mean v. 5.6. It was a stuggle moving to Windows XP SP2 with this version but was able to make it work with a bunch of scripts.

Still having a problem if I Push/Pull more then 5 images at one time. When I started using this program 2 years ago I could Push/Pull 12 at one time without issue. I do notice the SQL proccess is maxing out when imaging.

Thanks

Keith
