PXE Boot problem

Hi Guys,

Can anyone explain why when I pxe boot my client machine I get a error message;

pxe-t01: file not found
pxe-e3b: tftp error - file not found
pxe-m0f: exiting pxe rom.

The k2000 tftp log can see the client trying to connect to it.

The network person here is looking into the problem but I wanted to just check to see if there is anything that I can do?

The dhcp box here is not a windows machine so I cannot configure much.

Thanks

Mac

What is your dhcp server? Can you post the scope options here?

Solaris Box, option 066 is the server address and option 067 we have tried both kbox2000.0 and k2000.0 and neither have worked.

Any ideas?

we use the following boot options.

066: IP adress of the Kbox (or its name) (we use the IP Adress because we had also some connection problems)
067: kbox2000.0

for us this is what is working.

up and working now. Turns out the client was sending out incorrect requests.

Tried another desktop and it is now working.

Thanks
