PSExec to install aegnts?

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for a way to install agents remotely without having to disable UAC on the computers. I can use PSExec to do most of the work and write a script that will go through each computer name in AD and install an agent. Is there a way to manually install an agent with the correct settings using the install files that are sitting on the file share? If there is a knowledgebase article on this I'm happy to do the leg work myself, I just couldn't find anything.

Thanks!
Nate

Yes, AD is fine, but then it depends on user interaction. The user hast to initiate the process by rebooting their computer. I'd prefer to initiate it myself.

The batch file in the \\kbox\client\... share gives several command lines inside it for the various installers.

Alternatively, if you look at that group policy document it shows you how to embed the server name in the msi
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
