Problems With SMS 2

Hopefully someone can help me,
We are using Sms 2 and attempting to install Acrobat Reader 7 via the setup.exe -S /v/qn. command but this is not installing the files only one folder. If this command is run via the cmd prompt all runs well and acrobat is insatlled on the win 2k machines. We also have a problem where acrobat reader 5 ( the previous version ) will not install on one machine even when sms logs and the advertisments claim that it has been.

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers

Phil

Do the users have rights to write to the folder on the distribution point? If not you'll have to use the -f2 command to redirect the setup.log file. By default the install will try to write it to the same folder as the source setup.exe. You'll need to redirect it locally.

When we have had problems in the past like this. rather then push the setup.exe, we write a batch file and push that instead. works for us, although we haven't tried it with acrobat specifically :)
