I try to uninstall ULTRAEDIT32 V9 in silent mode.
I find the command line here : http://itninja.com/link/ultraedit-text-editor-|-ultracompare-file-compare-|-uestudio-|-ultrasentry

Command line : "C:\Program Files\UltraEdit\UNINSTAL.EXE" start \wait "C:\Program Files\UltraEdit\Uninstall.exe" "C:\Program Files\UltraEdit\install.log" -s

But, when i run it, i have a error : msg3=Le fichier INSTALL.LOG n'a pas pu être ouvert. (Traduct : The INSTALL.LOG file cannot be open)

This file existe and i have all permission on it.

Can you help me ?

What happens if you just try and run the following command ?

"C:\Program Files\UltraEdit\Uninstall.exe" "C:\Program Files\UltraEdit\install.log" -s

from a command window ?

Thank you for your feedback.

@Spartacus, if i type this command i've receive the error message box too.

I ask same question to IDM Computer Solutions (UltraEdit Editor)

Respons :

Thanks for your message. I'm sorry for the trouble you are having.
We have never specifically supported a silent uninstall, so I'm not sure why it is listed on APPDEPLOY.COM. If you want to perform a silent uninstall, all I can tell you is to write a batch file (or some other method) which will delete the directory UltraEdit is installed in and the following configuration files:

uedit32.ini - usually in the Windows\Winnt directory uedit32.kbd - in the same directory as the ini file

and the following registry entry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IDM Computer Solutions\

So, i work on this BATCH ;o)
