We recently purchased a K1000 and I am in the process of getting it set up and configured. I've run into an issue with the Service desk that I am trying to work around and I am coming up with a blank.

What we would like to do is to configure Kace to use an existing email address to receive mail and generate tickets. We've been using the same IT email address for years and it will be an uphill battle to get our users to use a new address.

Our problem is that our Exchange server is hosted by an external company (we connect to their servers using HTTP). Because of this, we have no way to set up transport rules to redirect email to an internal server (that being the Kace appliance).

Does anybody have any ideas as to how we can possibly go about setting this up without requiring a new helpdesk email address?

You would either need a relay server or use POP. If you need secure POP, there is a patch that support can give you.
