PIDKEY/ISX_SERIALNUMBER

I am running install tailor to build an MST with the Product Key .

I have used the the PIDKEY property =******** in the MST that launches the MSI/MST.

When launching adobe captivate 2.0 it still prompts for the serial number to activate the product.

have also used ISX_SERIALNUMBER property

Anyone know of a work around please

the PID property is not working

I'd use the advice from that post to determine the property name

You may also try ISX_SERIALNUM

thanks schieb

I also used ISX_SERIALNUM but it did not work

but i found a way around it .

I created the mst for the vendor msi with install tailor ( wise 6.0)

when you launch the app it will prompt for the activation code

I then captured the product activation and created another msi

I then created a nested msi using custom actions to install and uninstall and it worked ok

when i added the license .dat files and registry keys to the msi using custom actions the app still did not still work
