Per user reinstallation
Hello everyone,
I am using MSI Studio Standard to repackage some applications for deployment via GPO. The problem i am having is when the application gets installed from the group policy (set to install on startup), it reinstalls itself every time a different user logs on. We have a few large application so the reinstall for each user has taken up to 20 mins! Is there any way that I can have these applications installed completely on startup without having each user reinstall it?
I have tried changing the installation types to per-machine to no avail.
Any help is appreciated

Check for a file installed in the user profile which might be causing it to reinstall.

Look in the event viewer application log for the entrypoint that triggered the repair.
