anyone know how to prevent the registration box from coming up at first run? i've tried capturing first use settings in Wise without success so far. my best guess is that it has something to do with the files it places in the users Application Data\Symantec folder. I can replace that folder, but it always updates it on first install/run and forces the registration the first time it's installed...

nevermind...i found the solution. for anyone else who might have missed this setting like i did:
when using Symantec's built in packager, the option to suppress the registration dialog ONLY appears under the 'Configure Products' tab (Installation Options, Start online registration at first startup). It is not an option under the 'Configure Packages' tab which I had been using. Maybe if it was the proverbial snake, it would have bit me...
