Patching Issue

I'm still in the trial mode and attempting to conduct a limited (2) detect and deploy for patching.
2 days ago, I conducted a detect only for all of our test systems. When I look at the inventory-security for either of the 2 I am trying to deploy to, I get an error (Log upload failed).
There are no listed patches when viewing the Not Patched. When I look at Patched view for a device, I see a list of patches with a status of Patched. Are this the patches that have already been installed on the device that the first detect is identifing?
Since I already conducted a detect, why do I not see a list of Not Patched?

Ok, I missed that you need to assign a label to a patch to enable the patch to be detected and deployed.

Or you can check the box to detect and/or deploy all patches. If you check the detect all, it will detect everything. This will be reflected in the All link, which is where you go to see everything that is detected for a single machine. Not Patched only shows patches that you have tagged for deployment - ie. Approved patches.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
